About this property

Welcome to Heritage Hotel

Heritage Hotel occupies a pair of Victorian townhouses in Glasgow's fashionable West End, an area well known for its cafes, boutiques, and lively nightlife on Ashton Lane. Its location provides convenient access to nearby attractions such as Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, the Riverside Museum, and Glasgow Cathedral, making it a practical choice for visitors interested in exploring the city's cultural sites.

The accommodation offers basic yet comfortable rooms, some noted by guests for their spaciousness and large bathrooms. While the décor is straightforward, the hotel benefits from free Wi-Fi and a smoke-free environment, appealing to families with child-friendly amenities included. An outdoor terrace provides a pleasant spot to relax, and complimentary breakfast is served each morning, though guest reviews mention mixed opinions on its quality.

Guests have highlighted the friendly and helpful staff along with a generally quiet atmosphere despite the central location. Some found minor issues with facilities, such as the shower size and temperature, or the simplicity of the breakfast options, but overall appreciated the value offered. Access to the property involves a side ramp due to its slightly elevated position above the road, and parking is limited but available.

With check-in from 13:30 and check-out by 11:00, the hotel caters well to travelers seeking a no-frills stay in a vibrant neighborhood. Its proximity to public transport and two nearby airports—Glasgow Airport and Edinburgh Airport—adds to the convenience, while nearby hotels offer additional options within short distances.

Lovely hotel, friendly and helpful check-in staff. Comfortable spotless bedrooms with ensuite bathroom. Choice of cooked breakfast and cereal. Cooked breakfast was a disappointment: cheap produce badly cooked. Continental breakfast wasn't a continental breakfast: rolls, jams and prepacked mimi chunks of plastic cheese do NOT constitute a continental breakfast. Get yourself to Europe and see how it's done. Cereal and sugar laden tinned fruit also on offer. Overall a pleasant hotel.

Great location, easy to get to. Hotel and room were clean and comfortable. Staff were all very friendly. Room was spacious had a nice view on to the street, and pretty quiet considering the location, slept well! Good breakfast in the morning. Only let down was the water temperature in the morning but it wouldn't put us off staying again. Superb value for money!!

Very nice place. Good bed and a clean room plus really nice staff. Right in the westend so a great location. Also it's only £7 by taxi from the city center. No problems storing luggage for a few hours after checkout either. Breakfast is solid (if you like the fully fry). Continental breakfast maybe a little lacking by comparison. In all, definitely highly recommended.

Nice hotel near sightseeing and shopping. The hotel itself is raised above the road so you need to access the main entrance from the ramp along the side of the hotel. The car park is small (enough for 8 vehicles) and is located around back. We arrived at 1:30pm for check-in and had no trouble with finding a parking spot on a busy Saturday. The hotel rooms are nice and large. The bathroom was also large. Both were also very clean and the beds were comfortable. The area around the hotel is very walkable and safe. We walked to the Botanic Gardens, up through the university, and back through the riverfront parks. We also walked to and from dinner at the nearby Zizzi. The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. They pointed out a couple things to do and see nearby. I only wish we had more time to stay and visit but we only had one night in Glasgow. Great spot in a good location!

Friendly staff and nice rooms. The shower is quite small and it's not helped by the large shower system that takes up room unnecessarily. The doors in rooms are frustrating to close but staff were helpful when we had an issue. The breakfast was not bad and the server was friendly but the turkey rashers and sausage could be a lot better.

Lovely hotel in a location beautifully and conveniently situated in the West end. Less than 5 minutes to Byres Road in one direction, and a similar time to the subway station in the other. Beautiful big room with a huge bay window with a table and comfortable lounging chairs to relax in. Bathroom also large, and all stead

The hotel is situated near the subway station which gives easy access to the city center. The staff was friendly but spoke little English. The room was nice and tidy, but it was on the 2nd floor and the stairs are quite narrow and it is a bit difficult to drag the luggage up and down. Breakfast was simple but good. Overall good price for value.
